After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has lodged an FIR citing a conspiracy behind his son’s death, Kangana Ranaut has taken a dig at the journalists and the Bollywood actresses who were asking people not to highlight Sushant’s death and let his family grieve in peace.
The actresses were of the opinion that since Sushant’s family had not spoken a word since his death, why were other people who were not related to the case were speaking about it? They should stop it because it’s unfair to the family.
However, now Sushant’s family itself has come out seeking justice and has accused Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family members of some serious offences.
Kangana put out a tweet yesterday with the screenshots of the old tweets of all the actresses and journalists where they were asking people to let Sushant’s family grieve and not talk about his demise.
A lot of people were surprised why Sushant’s family was delaying lodging an official complaint and a Facebook user had even asked Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti why her family was keeping mum.
Shweta, in her reply, told the Facebook user that her family was waiting for the Mumbai Police to complete the initial investigation and come up with their report. Only after that, they would take any further course of action.
It is believed that Sushant’s father was not entirely satisfied with the way Mumbai Police was handling the case and he let the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar know about it when he met him on Friday.
After the meeting, the Bihar CM allowed Sushant’s father to file an FIR in Patna despite the fact that Mumbai was the actual venue of the case and under normal circumstances, the FIR should have been lodged in Mumbai.
Since, the FIR has now been lodged in Patna, it gives Bihar Police the authority to intervene and interrogate people related to the case.
Mumbai Police are still investigating the case on their part.
