Shah Rukh Khan, the renowned Bollywood figure, along with his youngest son AbRam, infused the cricket stadium with vibrant energy as they cheered for their team, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. Wearing their distinctive purple caps, the father-son duo enthusiastically supported KKR during their intense match against the Delhi Capitals.
This occasion wasn’t the first time SRK graced the cricket grounds to back his team. During a previous match between KKR and DC at Vizag, a touching moment unfolded between Shah Rukh Khan and Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Delhi Capitals.
Following KKR’s triumph, SRK extended congratulations to the players, including Rishabh Pant.
However, when Pant attempted to rise and greet the Bollywood superstar, SRK insisted he remain seated, mindful of Pant’s recent injury.

Reflecting on this encounter in a recent interview with Star Sports, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his worry for Pant’s welfare, revealing his shock upon witnessing the cricketer’s accident. He remarked,
“I saw the video, that CCTV footage. Horrifying. These age boys are like my sons. Rishabh himself. When a sportsperson gets hurt, it’s a double jeopardy. I hope his knee gets fine. That is why I was telling him not to get up. I’m glad Rishabh is back, and I hope he keeps playing well.”
