The countdown for the highly anticipated Big, Fat, Indian Wedding has begun. Anant Ambani, the youngest prince of Reliance Industries, will be marrying his fiancée Radhika Merchant on July 12th. While the wedding date has been finalized, the venue remains a mystery.
Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s Wedding Venue Is Out
Multiple reports suggested that the wedding might take place at the Ambani-owned Stoke Park estate in London. For the unversed, Mukesh Ambani purchased this historic property in 2021 for a whopping amount of Rs 592 crore. It dates back more than 1,000 years to its construction in 1066.
Stoke Park has been converted into a luxurious hotel, boasting over 49 rooms, a fitness center, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and other amenities. The estate has even been featured in the popular Netflix series ‘The Crown’.
According to a report by Times of India, the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is likely to take place in Mumbai. The report mentions a post shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, suggesting that the grand event could be hosted at an opulent venue in Mumbai.
Now as per a report by Times Now, the grand wedding is all set to take place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Yes, you read that right.
Notably, the Ambanis hosted a lavish pre-wedding event spanning three days for Anant and Radhika, attended by a star-studded guest list from the world of showbiz and corporate, including Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, as well as prominent figures like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and his wife Priscilla Chan.
US R&B icon Rihanna was also invited to perform live. Radhika and Anant’s engagement took place at the Ambani residence, Antilia, in January 2023. Radhika, the daughter of pharmaceutical tycoon Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, is reported to have a net worth of Rs 750 crore.
