A Twitter User Asked “Why Aren’t You Posting About Sushant?” And Kapil Sharma Gave A Brilliant Reply

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has sent shockwaves throughout the nation but has also opened the gates to many debates and controversies, including the nepotism debate. From fans to celebrities, while many mourned and expressed their grief on the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput, a few Bollywood actors chose not to share anything on social media or talk about the ongoing debate on nepotism and favoritism in Bollywood, for instance, Kapil Sharma.

Popular comedian and television host Kapil Sharma was trolled on Twitter by a user and was asked why has he maintained silence about the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found hanging in his Bandra house. The twitter user came up with a shameful tweet as he asked Kapil the reason behind his silence. The Twitter user wrote:

Gyaanchand. Sushant Singh Rajput ke liye bhi tweet karo ya p**hwaada phat gaya.”

(Which roughly translates to: “Why haven’t you tweeted about Sushant Singh Rajput? Are you scared?”)

Responding to this, Kapil Sharma replied in the same language. He wrote:

“Ab apki bhaasha me! :- g*tichand.Mera p**hwaada to theek hai, aap kripya apna p**hwaade jaisa munh tabhi khole’n jab apke paas uchit kaaran ho.”

(Which roughly translates to: “I’m not scared. Kindly open your mouth only when you have something worth saying.”)

Just like Sushant Singh Rajput, Kapil Sharma has also been a victim of the depression in the past. Earlier in an interview, he had revealed:

“I could not step on the stage to perform and would cancel the shoot. I suffered from anxiety and drank myself silly. I would stay locked up in the office with my pet dog. People stopped coming on the show and I went off the radar,” he had said in 2017, according to Indian Express. He continued, “One of my close friends asked me to shift to his seaside apartment. He thought a change of scene would be good for me. As I saw the wide expanse of sea from his balcony, I felt like jumping into it. I was depressed; it felt like the world was gunning for me.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in the movie Chhichhore, which was a hit at the Box-office. He will be next seen in an upcoming movie Dil Bechara, which is based on John Green’s novel The Fault In Our Stars. The trailer of the movie will be released today and the movie will be available in the OTT platform – Hotstar on 24th July.
