Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan were married for 19 years before their divorce in 2017. Despite their separation, they continue to co-parent their son, Arhaan Khan. While Arbaaz has since remarried Shura Khan, Malaika has been in a stable relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor.
Recently, Malaika mentioned that Arhaan has inherited not very attractive mannerisms from his father. Malaika hinted that Arhaan has inherited certain traits from his father, which she described as less appealing.
Arbaaz has now responded to her comments.
In an interview with Zoom Entertainment, Arbaaz Khan was asked about Malaika Arora’s remarks regarding his personality and whether he agrees with them. He acknowledged her right to express her opinion, especially in conversations with their son, Arhaan. Arbaaz stated:
“See, that’s between a mother and her son, that is the opinion that she had. I guess she’s entitled to have that opinion. Yes, she may have thought that I’m indecisive on certain aspects.”
However, Arbaaz also highlighted Malaika’s previous description of him as a fair and just person with clarity in his thoughts.
He suggested that her statements should not be taken too seriously, as everyone has the right to their own opinions. Arbaaz remarked:
“But I also read from the interview, she mentioned that there was a lot of clarity in my thoughts and, I’m very clear. So I just take it, that’s fine. It’s nothing to take seriously or whatever. I mean, she’s got the right to say whatever. I thought it was okay. I don’t want to dispute anything. That’s her opinion.”
Malaika Arora’s remarks came during her appearance on her son Arhaan Khan’s podcast, Dumb Biryani, where she discussed how Arhaan had inherited certain mannerisms from his father, including being indecisive. However, she also noted that these traits were balanced out by positive qualities, emphasizing fairness and adaptability.
In a previous episode of the podcast, Arbaaz Khan had humorously addressed his own relationships, including his divorce and remarriage, prompting lighthearted reactions from his family, including Arhaan.
