Babil Khan, son of the late renowned actor Irrfan Khan, frequently reminisces about his father on his Instagram account with poignant and heartfelt tributes. Approaching the fourth anniversary of Irrfan Khan’s passing, Babil Khan shared a post on his Instagram story, subsequently deleting it, causing worry among his followers.
In his post, Babil expressed, “Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba.”
Losing his father at the age of 22 has been an immense challenge for Babil. While the world mourned the tragic loss of Irrfan Khan, the impact on his family, particularly Babil, has been profound.
Although Babil removed the post, concerned fans flooded the comments section, offering words of support and checking on his well-being.
Babil has yet to address or acknowledge the post since its deletion. Apart from Babil, Irrfan Khan is survived by another son, Ayaan Khan, with his wife Sutapa Sikdar, who is also an actor and writer.

Throughout his illustrious career, Irrfan Khan starred in numerous successful Hollywood films, including “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Life of Pi,” “Jurassic World,” “Slumdog Millionaire,” “Inferno,” and “The Namesake.”
Following in his father’s footsteps, Babil has ventured into acting, making his debut in the Netflix original movie “Qala” in 2022, alongside Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. He has since appeared in “Friday Night Plan” and the Netflix series “The Railway Men.” Babil Khan’s upcoming project is “The Umesh Chronicles,” which will also feature Amitabh Bachchan and is produced by Shoojit Sircar.
