A Twitter User Gave A ‘Reality Check’ To Chetan Bhagat After He Tried To Take A Dig At The Indian Economy

People are having a lot of free time during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, in order to contain the spread of the Coronavirus. Celebrities from all walks of life have been spending a lot of their time on social media and are coming up with their takes on the current situation of the country.

Recently, author Chetan Bhagat is one of the most followed Indian authors on Twitter, took to his account and posted a tweet, where he tried to slam the government by writing his own facts about the current situation of the nation. He wrote:

“We wrecked our economy. Because:
1. We cared about putting Pakistan down more
2. We cared about being one up on Muslims more
3. We worship vs holding governments accountable
4. Outdated economics
5. We feel all suffering is God given

Amidst many, a twitter user named ‘Sanju Verma’, who as per her bio is an Economist and an author, took to her social media and threw ‘real’ facts on Chetan Bhagat’s face. In her tweet, Sanju wrote how India is way ahead of UK and France in terms of economy. Coming up with real facts, Sanju asked Chetan Bhagat to stop writing gibberish. She wrote:
