The Indian cricketer, Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh welcomed a new member in their lives yesterday, as the couple got blessed with a baby girl.
Rohit Sharma, who was in Australia for the ongoing test series, will be flying back to India and will be missing the 4th test match to be with his wife and new-born daughter.
The news was confirmed by the cousin sister of Ritika Sajdeh, Seema Khan, who is also the wife of actor-producer Sohail Khan. Confirming the news, Seema took to her Instagram account and posted a beautiful picture and captioned the image as ‘baby girl’ and ‘masis again’.

Rohit Sharma could not be present at the moment to witness the birth of his daughter as he’s currently touring Australia with the Indian cricket team that won a historic boxing test match by 137 runs. However, a few days ago a video of him went viral on the social media where he was seen talking about his soon-to-be born baby. Talking about the baby, he had said :
“I cannot wait to be a father; it is going to be a game changing moment in our lives. I am eagerly awaiting the moment of becoming a father. It will be a moment to change our life,”
The social media is filled with congratulatory wishes for the hit-man Sharma and his wife. Here, have a look at the reactions of twitterati :
