Her interview created a lot of buzz on social media. However, while almost ever Bollywood celebrity is ignoring to talk on this matter, many celebrities have come forward and supported the actress.
Now, in a recent interview, Tanushree Dutta made another shocking revelations by telling how a Bollywood director asked her to strip down her clothes and dance. She revealed how two big bollywood actors came forward and helped her in that situation.
Talking to a leading media, Tanushree Dutta revealed that while shooting for movie Chocolate, the director forced to strip down and said “Kapde Utaar Kar Naach”. Although, Tanushree Dutta didn’t took the name of anyone but the director of the movie was Vivek Agnihotri. She said :
“This guy wanted me to give cues to an actor. It was an actor’s close-up. It was not even my shot. I was not even going to be in the shot. It was the actor’s close-up and he had to just look at something and give expressions. This director, he told me to strip and give cues”
Tanushree Dutta also revealed how the leading actors of the movie came forward and took stand for her. She revealed the name of two big Bollywood actors who helped her in that situation, she said :
“…The male actor had to shoot back at the director saying, ‘I don’t need her to take off her coat and dance for me to give facial expressions. This was Irrfan Khan. I really appreciated that he actually spoke up like that because it was his close-up shot. I’m not in the frame. He had to look at me and give some expressions. Why do I have to dance in front of him for him to give expressions on his close-up shot. This director tells me…. I was shocked!”
“The actor was horrified. And, because he had done some work, he could say something. He just told the director, ‘What are you talking about? I can give my close-up. Mujhe acting aati hai’. Suneil Shetty also spoke up. He was also there, he heard it and he got offended by it. He was like, ‘Main aayun kya wahaan cues dene ke liye?’ Yeah of course, there are good people in the industry. Both, Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty spoke up. Suniel scolded that guy,”
Well, kudos to Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan for taking stand for the actress. Men like them makes this world safe for women.
