Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has become a national hero after his act of heroism in Pakistan and the way he handled everything so fearlessly, the whole country is proud of him. Yesterday, he finally stepped on the Indian soil via Wagah border, after being in the captivity of Pakistani army for more than 60 hours.
Abhinandan landed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after his aircraft fell down following an aerial fight with an F-16 jet of PAF, who was shot down by our brave hearts.But now he is finally back in India. After he ejected from his MIG-21 aircraft, Wing Commander was beaten by the mob but he was soon captured by the Pakistan Army and was taken into custody blindfolded.
WC Abhinandan stayed in the Pakistani captivity for more than 60 hours, while everyone was praying for his safety, only Abhinandan knows the truth about how he was treated there.
Wing Commander Abhinandan was taken to hospital as soon as he returned from Pakistan for a detailed medical-checkup, he is currently in hospital. Today, our defence minister along with many IAF officers visited our National Hero in hospital.

Just now, ANI quoted a source where they revealed that although WC Abhinandan was not physically tortured by the Pakistani army; he went through a lot of mental harassment.
Well, we really wish that he gets out of this phase really soon and gets back stronger than ever. He is truly an inspiration for many.
