We often hear about or talk about women being molested or tortured by unknown men. We often raise our voices against stalking, rapes, molestations and other forms of abuses against women. But when it comes to a wife being tortured or beaten up by her husband in India we perhaps assume that a husband has all the leverage in the world to do so. Why is that?
If rapes are a reality, so is marital rape and if women being stalked is a reality then so is women being brutally beaten up by their own husbands. The objectification of women just doesn’t stop even after marriage which is supposed to be a ‘sacred institution.’ HERE IS A SHOCKER FROM MUMBAI!
A resident of Mumbai, Amita Kaur can be seen weeping and pleading for help in this video. The woman was left so helpless and tortured that she finally took to Twitter to narrate her ordeal and her plight. The video was then shared by filmmaker Ahoke Pandit.
These scenes will send chills down your spine and horrify you. The woman narrates her plight and says that she has only been living this marriage for the sake of her children. But her husband has been torturing her and has crossed all limits of brutality.
She even said that despite filing an FIR in the Khar Police Station she got no help from the police. She further says that her husband, Gurpreet Singh is a womanizer and has been having extramarital affairs. She also names senior inspector Jadav and says that he did not help her despite her plight and begging for help.
“RECENTLY, I WAS ELECTROCUTED ON THE BED WHICH I SLEEP AND THE RECORD WAS RECORDED BY KHAR POLICE STATION. IN SPITE OF DOING AN FIR, THERE’S NO ACTION BEING TAKEN PLACE.”
SAYS WILL END LIFE
After narrating her ordeal she even says that if she receives no help then she will end her life soon.
Here is the gut-wrenching video:
