Indian Cricketers’ Salary Is Set To Be Increased Many Folds. Here Is How Much They Will Earn Now: In terms of salaries, it becomes obvious that the boys of the Indian cricket team can be the richest cricketers. The players of the British and Australian cricket team don’t associate much with the brand endorsements like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, who can be seen endorsing many endorsements.

The head coach of the Indian cricket team Ravi Shastri along with Kohli and Dhoni had a meeting with the Committee of Administrators (CoA) which is appointed by the Supreme Court. The meeting was regarding the pay hike for the players.

If reports are to be believed, players with Grade A contracts can get paid up to Rs 12 crore a year. It means that players like Virat Kohli’s pay scale can touch the sky high.

While, players with Grade B contracts can get up to 8 crore a year and players with Grade C contract can bag up to Rs 4 crore a year.

Kohli and Co. are going to get richer

With the likes of the current contracts, Kohli, Ashwin who are seasoned Indian players are getting Rs 2 crores per year. While the Grade B players are getting 1 crore a year and the Grade C players are getting 50 lakhs a year.

In the above mentioned meeting, the trio especially mentioned the point where Steve Smith, the Australian skipper bags near about 2 million Australian dollars. In Indian currency it goes up to Rs 12 crore.

They also mentioned Joe Root, the captain of the England cricket team who also gets paid around Rs 12 crore, which is as same as the pay scale of Smith.

If the sources are to be believed, the discussion went on for hours and the debate went on the fact that there is a disparity of wages between the Indian, British and the Australian players.

The matter of the fact is that the Indian players no doubt are underpaid than their British and Australian counterparts.A CoA source confirmed that efforts will be made restore parity. The officials believe that the Indian cricketers should be at the same level as that of the other players.

That’s why they think that this matter should be taken into consideration as the Indian players have done a commendable job in the field and it would be interesting to see if their plea gets noticed or not.
