There are a number of awkward moments that we experience every day on social media and if they consist of some of the best actors and celebrities around us, then it makes the moment even more enjoyable for us. We will talk about one such moment in the following lines.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan and music maestro A R Rahmaan’s awkward interaction at the launch of Raunaq in 2014 had grabbed a lot of headlines. The two shared the stage at the launch of a music collaboration between Rahman and then Union Minister (Telecom & IT) Kapil Sibal.
At the event, ‘Dabangg’ actor Salman Khan had jokingly called the Oscar-winning musician an ‘average’ composer. The unpleasant remark seemingly didn’t go down well and as Salman put his foot in his mouth, he asked Rahman, “Hamaare saath kab kaam karoge yaar?”
Although Salman tried to make up for the joke by trying to shake hands with him, AR Rahman kept his hands glued to his pocket and maintained a poker face. Later when he was asked by a journalist about when he will be working with Salman in the future, he politely answered that Salman will have to act in movies that the music director likes.

While this was a one-off conversation, the actor and the music director does not seem to be working sometimes soon with each other together. However, the Twitter users lauded this reply from the ace musician to the Bhai of Bollywood and showed their respect for him on the online platform. Though the fans of the Bollywood actor won’t be happy with this savage reply from Rehman, it goes without saying that Salman should understand that there is a limit to his jokes and where he should stop joking about eminent personalities, singers and musicians.
