Aamir Khan is one of the most renowned, prolific and talented actors that Bollywood has ever had. He is one of biggest superstars of his era. Perhaps this is why he enjoys a huge fan following to his name. The 56 year old star has brought in certain revolutions in the line of fitness and body build. However, he had to face some upsurge, to which he gave a befitting reply to shut the trolls.
As soon as the Dangal trailer released, people started to talk about Aamir’s fat to fit transformation. Many of his haters also alleged him of using steroids in order to manage the tough transformation in such a quick succession of time.
When asked about it in an interview, the superstar came up with a befitting reply. He justified his transformation by explaining it in a lucid manner. He told the media:
“I have not used any substances. I think that the good rate to lose weight is roughly one pound a week. If you want to lose weight a little faster, then you have more of a calorie deficit. So, if you have calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, you lose one pound a week. If you have the calorie deficit of 1,000 calories a day, you lose two pounds a week. That is considered to be on the higher side.”
Further adding to his statement, Aamir spoke:
“When I started the weight loss process, I was doing double of that. Four pounds a week, I was losing for the first three weeks. Then I brought it down to two pounds a week. So, I had 20 weeks to do that. If you do the math, you will understand that is how I got there. Immediately after ‘PK’, I was in the weight training mode for two years.”
This savage reply by the superstar was highly appreciated by his fans. Aamir came up with a perfect reply to all the suspicious haters who were alleging him for using steroids. His answer shut all the mouths of the trolls as it went viral in a few hours.
