The heart and soul of Dharma Production, Karan Johar has been a popular face. Unlike other major directors and producers who like to keep low profiles, he loves the public eye. He has always been controversial and under the realms of trolls. First, his proud gay vibes, then his nepotistic mindset to cast only stars and star kids in his movies, his fashion sense, his lame statements, and so on.
With the recent passing away of Sushant Singh Rajput in a supposed suicide, the online army of haters has confirmed their views when news surfaced that he died from depression. Sushant has been a victim of nepotism and soon Karan and his squad members like Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor have also been targets. They received a lot of filth and their social media followings decreased at a drastic rate.
At a recent interaction with one of his friends, it was revealed how Karan has been really disturbed by the growing hate where he had nothing to do. The constant trolls over the years have helped Karan develop an unbothered attitude but this has been creeping into his mind real bad. So much that it has taken a toll on his health.
“Karan is a broken man”, his friend was quoted as saying.
“This time around, he is affected because those close to him are being pulled into this. His three-year-old twins have been receiving death threats and someone like Ananya Pandey, who has nothing to do with this, is also receiving comments that are asking her to commit suicide to compensate for Sushant’s death.”
We are not sure if feeling sorry for him would be the right thing, what do you say?
