8 Rising Actors Who Are Not Backed By Nepotism And Need Our Support

A lot has come to the surface regarding the hypocrisy and the nasty politics of Bollywood post the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. However, there are some places still left where talent is getting the deserving spot in the industry. Rather a bunch of new faces has made their fearless attempt to show a middle finger to Nepotism and move ahead with their filmy dreams.

Here are 8 such emerging stars of Bollywood who are not backed by Nepotism and are an absolute pleasure to watch out for:

  1. Shobhita Dhulipala

She was first seen in Prime Originals Made in Heaven. her remarkable debut with stunning features landed her Netflix originals Ghost Stories and Bard of Blood. We cannot wait to see her beautiful presence in the theaters too!

2. Vijay Varma

After a few roles in Chittagong, Pink, and Monsoon Shoutout, Vijay received the deserving spotlight when he played Moeen in Gully Boy. His rustic looks and lanky stature added to the realistic acting skills he has really proved himself to be a versatile actor. We would love to see him doing more such characters soon.

3. Vishal Jethwa

The young boy proved his worth with a triggering character of a psychopath in Mardaani 2. Vishal has earlier worked in numerous TV serials and his debut on the big screen is absolutely justified. Hopefully, in no time we would get to see him doing more such thrilling characters.

4. Radhika Madan

Her breakthrough performance in Angrezi Medium as Tarika made us believe that talent is respected in the industry. A dance instructor from Delhi with no filmy connections, she first made her name in TV serials and then moved on to entertain us on the big screen in movies with her all-rounder performances.

5. Siddhant Chaturvedi

The OG fearless young star of Bollywood with no Godfather. His rok sako toh rok lo attitude and bindass personality of being vocal about the industry dynamics have been inspirational. His role as MC Sher in Gully Boy literally overshadowed Ranveer Singh who played the leading role Murad. He would be seen next in Bunty aur Babli 2.

6. Jitendra Kumar

He has been a popular face in the web series parade before he entertained us as Aman Tripathi in Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan. Perhaps it was only because he was confident in his craft and he believed in himself without the aid of any connections that he could play the queer character with such conviction.

7. Laksh Lalwani

8. Shalini Pandey

A known face in Tamil and Telugu films, her claim to fame was the movie Arjun Reddy opposite Vijay Devarakonda. Her works fetched her a Bollywood debut opposite Ranveer Singh in Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The industry stage needs more such deserving actors who can set examples that Bollywood always has a place for the promising people whom Nepotism marks as “outsiders”.
