Virat Kohli, the skipper of Indian cricket team has never failed to take our hearts away, be it his smashing shots and brilliant performances on field. He is the best batsman in the world right now who is breaking records and creating new ones, one after the other.
Recently, in an interview Virat Kohli announced something very important with respect to his retirement. Although, he is not getting retired anytime soon, which is a relief for the fans, but he has revealed his retirement plans.
Virat Kohli revealed that he will willingly decide to take himself off the game, that will be his final decision. He also went on to reveal that when he will retire he will retire from all the formats of the game. In his words he said :
“Look I don’t know whether that stance is going to change in the future. As far as I am concerned, playing more cricket when I am done, I don’t think I am in that zone to be honest,”
He revealed that when he will retire, he won’t be picking up bat again, he said :
“I have played enough cricket in the last five years and I cannot comment on even the first thing I do when I retire because I don’t feel like I am going to pick up the bat again,”
He added :
“I will be spent, the day I finish I will be totally spent and that’s the reason I am going to stop playing cricket. So I don’t see myself coming back and playing again. Once I am done, I will be done, and I won’t be seen around the scene”
Well, this news really broke our hearts, we really wish that he changes his mind.
