11 Interesting Facts About Five Time Tamil Nadu’s CM Karunanidhi, Who Passed Away Yesterday


Yesterday, DMK patriarch and five-time Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi breathed his last after fighting a 11-day battle with life at the Kauvery hospital in Chennai. The 94-year old, former CM’s health had seen a severe decline in the last 24 hours due to multi-organ failure.

The state is grief stricken at the moment and is in a state of shock. People are coming out on streets to pay their last tributes to the former Chief Minister.

  • Karunanidhi first entered into politics when he was only years oldby participating in anti-Hindi agitations.

  • Karunanidhi’s first movie as a screenwriter was Rajakumari.
