Samantha Ruth Prabhu, whose next film Shaakuntalam is an epic love tale, made a public appearance recently to present the film’s much-awaited trailer. The actress, who has been in the news recently after disclosing that she was diagnosed with myositis,’ became visibly upset at the trailer premiere ceremony for Shaakuntalam as she gave a message of gratitude to her devoted fan base. Pictures and videos from the gathering quickly began to circulate online. A troll tweeted images of Samantha during the trailer event, where the actress looked stunning in a white saree.
The actress had ‘lost all her charm and radiance’ after being diagnosed with myositis, according to a sympathy tweet sent by a Twitter page. Finally, the actress has won over the internet with her scathing response to that post.
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu first gained widespread attention for her portrayal of Raji in the hit web series The Family Man 2. Her character is a Sri Lankan Tamil independence rebel who embarks on a suicide mission. The actress apparently has a role in the upcoming film Citadel by the Russo Brothers.
“Feeling sad for Samantha. She lost all her charm and glow. When everyone thought she came out of divorce strongly and her professional life is seeing heights, myositis hit her badly, making her weak again,” the tweet read. Reacting to this, Samantha wrote,
“I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did…And here’s some love from me to add to your glow,” she captioned, adding a silver heart emoji. Samantha’s fans also came out in support of Samantha and criticized the tweet.

Slamming the post, a fan wrote,
“As someone who has an autoimmune disease and went through heaps of experimental treatments including steroids, with all the effects of illness & treatment that showed up visibly, these kinds of condescending remarks can feel brutal. I feel sorry for those that can’t see the quiet and remarkable strength of a person battling a chronic illness. The only way is to accept it as well-meaning ignorance.”
Samantha actress took notice of this tweet and replied,
“In a world where you can be anything…Be kind !! @MeDamselDee You are beautiful”.
