Ravishankar Jayadritha Shastri, Aka Ravi Shastri, is a former captain and coach of the Indian cricket team who was also seen as the English commentator in cricket previously. He was in squad of the Indian national cricket team from 1981 to 1992, making appearance in both Test as well as One Day International format. He started his career being a left-arm spin bowler before serving as all-rounder batsman .
In his cricket career of more than a decade, Shastri has appeared in n number of formats. Former all-rounder batsman was also part of the team squad that won the World Cup in 1983. Later, he served as a tremendous commentator before becoming head coach of Indian cricket team.

However, there was one question that caught everyone’s attention including Ravi Shastri himself and that is the sketch made by a fan. That fan of him made his sketch and asserted to have spent two hours making the masterpiece and asked for his response. While uploading the photo of the sketch, he tweeted,

Shastri’s response went viral like a fire, with over 5,000 likes and almost 900 retweets and that too in less than an hour. As of now , it stands at more than 18.9k likes and over 1859 retweets.
During this, Q&A session , Shastri shared a surprising thing that he would debate on with veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar over the fast bowler’s condition when he was coaching the Indian team.
Previously he talked about the same while having conversation with ESPN Cric info, saying ,
“Every time I meet Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar), I have an argument with him. I say, if he can only focus and work harder on his fitness…his experience and ability in all formats of the game is remarkable. Every time we toured England or NewZealand, the guy was unfit.”
He further added,
“I said, ‘you lost yourself 50 red ball wickets in the last couple of years’. If he stays fit, he is an automatic choice in the Indian team, forget Sunrisers.”
