Priyanka Chopra Gave An Epic Reply When Asked About Kamala Harris’ Win

Priyanka Chopra is one of the most loved and talented actresses, who is loved all around the world now. Lately, the actress has been receiving praises from all corners for her brilliant performance in her recently released movie The White Tiger on Netflix.

However, that’s not the only thing she has been receiving praises for. A video of Priyanka has been making rounds on the internet where she gave an epic response when asked about Kamla Harris’ win.

Recently, the actress appeared on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ to promote her film The White Tiger, where she got into a candid conversation. During the interaction, the host asked Priyanka various questions including politics. He also asked Priyanka about how she felt when Harris became the first female, first South Asian, first Black vice president. He asked:

“As a South Asian woman yourself, what did it mean to you, to see the new vice president to be the first female, first South Asian, first African American vice president?” 

Responding to this, Priyanka Chopra came up with a savage response. Priyanka stole the show with her epic reply to the host as she welcomed America to the club. She said:

“Couple of things… it was such an emotional moment for a lot of my friends and family but coming from a country like India which has seen several women in governance, whether it is President, Prime Minister…You know, welcome to the club, America. That’s what I’ll say. High time, I hope this isn’t the first.”

She added:

“I hope there are many, many because this is what governance should look like. Leadership looks amazing especially when it is diverse and reflective of what the world really looks like,”
