In a recent episode of Shark Tank India season three, Anupam Mittal took a playful jab at his fellow shark, Aman Gupta. The banter ensued after pitchers Hitarth Parikh, Chahil Patel, and Harsheet Maliwal presented their sports analytics products to the sharks, seeking Rs 10 lakh for a 1 percent equity stake.
Impressed by the pitch and the product, Aman Gupta matched the offer, while Vineeta Singh offered Rs 50 lakh for a 5 percent stake.
Conversely, Namita Thapar doubled the valuation and proposed Rs 20 lakh for 1 percent equity. Anupam Mittal then countered with an offer of Rs 1 crore for a 5 percent stake. Subsequently, Aman Gupta adjusted his offer to Rs 25 lakh for 1 percent. Namita, feeling overlooked, reminded the pitchers of her contribution to doubling their valuation.
Ultimately, the pitchers chose Aman Gupta’s offer, leaving Namita feeling disgruntled as she exclaimed, “I doubled your valuation and you chose him.” Anupam Mittal seized the opportunity for a playful dig at Aman Gupta, remarking,
“I doubled your valuation and you chose him.” Anupam Mittal also took a dig at Aman Gupta and added, “Acchi khaasi deal aayi thi, sharks ne apne pairon pe kulhadi maar di. Tumhe 1cr mil raha tha, kya leke jaa rahe ho. Woh kabhi gym ke andar hi nahi gaya hai.”

“You had a good deal on the table, but the sharks shot themselves in the foot. You were getting 1 crore, what are you settling for? He has never even stepped inside a gym.”
Aman lightheartedly responded,
“I’ll start going to the gym from tomorrow.”
