Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has been making a lot of news these days, however, for all the wrong reasons. The cricketer has been getting brutally trolled on social media after his one mistake on-field resulted in Pakistan’s ouster from the World Cup tournament.
Throughout the semi-final match against Australia, Pakistan looked to continue their winning streak in the tournament, however, Hasan Ali dropping Matthew Wade’s catch in the 19th over changed the fate of the game. Immediately after the unfortunate moment, Wade smashed 3 stunning sixes off Shaheen Afridi and took his side to the finals.
Ever since the defeat, Hasan Ali is getting badly trolled on social media. There were many who pointed out that this was due to the fact that he is married to an Indian girl named Samiya Arzoo. Yes, some fans accused Hasan Ali that he ‘fixed’ the match as he was married to an Indian woman.
Samiya has also become one of the talking points on social media as fans are curious to know about her. Samiya Arzoo is currently working as a flight engineer with Emirates airlines. She hails from Chandeni village in Haryana’s Palwal district. She is the daughter of Liaquat Ali, who is a retired Block Development Officer working with the Haryana government.
Samiya has completed her education from Faridabad, where the family has been living for more than 15 years now. She is a huge fan of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and is often spotted cheering for her husband Hasan Ali during the games.
Talking about Samiya and Hasan’s love story, the couple had met a couple of years ago through a close friend in Dubai and they started dating each other after some time. The couple dated for around two years before finally getting married. The couple is blessed with a baby daughter.
