In yet another incident of food delivery mishap by Zomato, a recent case has surfaced involving a mix-up in a customer’s order. A man had placed an order for a vegetarian thali for his pregnant wife, who strictly follows a vegetarian diet. However, instead of receiving the requested paneer thali, they were delivered a non-vegetarian thali. Needless to say, this mix-up caused significant distress to the couple.
Shobhit Siddharth, a user of the platform, took to social media to highlight the concerning incident involving his Zomato order.
Despite specifically requesting a paneer thali, he received a chicken thali instead. This mix-up was especially problematic as the vegetarian meal was intended for his pregnant wife, who had been advised against consuming non-vegetarian food during her first trimester. Siddharth emphasized the potential health risks associated with such an error, stressing the importance of adhering to dietary restrictions during pregnancy to ensure the well-being of his wife.
