Adah Sharma has moved into the Mumbai apartment previously occupied by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In a recent interview, she revealed that the place felt right to her despite some discouragement.
Adah, who has now settled into the new space, shared her experience in a Bombay Times interview.
People had advised her against moving into the Bandra property, but she trusted her intuition.
“I moved into the flat (Mont Blanc Apartments, Bandra) four months ago, but I was busy promoting my projects, including Bastar and the OTT release of The Kerala Story. After that, I spent some time at the elephant sanctuary in Mathura. It’s only recently that I got some time off and have finally settled in,”
The actress said
She went on to describe a strong positive vibe in the apartment, which is important to her. With a love of nature, she was looking for a place with a view and space to connect with wildlife, mirroring her homes in Kerala and Mumbai.
“I have lived in the same house at Pali Hill (Bandra) all my life and this is the first time I’ve moved out of there. I’m very sensitive to vibes, and this place gives me positive ones. Our homes in Kerala and Mumbai have been surrounded by trees and we used to feed birds and squirrels. So, I wanted a home with a view and ample space to feed birds.”
Adah, known for following her instincts throughout her career, rented the apartment for five years. She referenced past instances where she ignored advice and took career risks that paid off.
Demonstrating a history of trusting her gut, Adah, known for her role in “The Kerala Story,” signed a five-year lease on the apartment. This aligns with past choices in her career, where she defied advice to avoid films like “1920,” ultimately following her intuition and achieving success.
The luxurious duplex flat, located on the sixth floor of Mont Blanc Apartments, was previously leased by Sushant Singh Rajput in December 2019. The apartment remained vacant after his passing, likely due to the media attention surrounding the case.
