Rinku Singh, in a playful exchange captured in a recent video by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in anticipation of their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), humorously requests a new bat from Virat Kohli after breaking the one gifted to him by the cricket star during a previous encounter.
In the video, Rinku Singh informs Kohli about the unfortunate demise of the bat, subtly hinting at his desire for a replacement. Kohli, in jest, feigns misunderstanding the request and humorously asks what he should do about the broken bat.
The banter continues as Kohli jokingly reminds Singh of his previous bat acquisition and questions the need for another gift. Singh, in response, assures Kohli that he won’t repeat the bat-breaking mishap. Here’s how the convo went!
Rinku says how during a spinner’s delivery he broke the bat from the middle.
“Ek match pehle le gaya tu bat. 2 match mein tujhe 2 bat dhu? Teri Vajah se na jo meri baadmein haalat hoti heina (You took a bat from me previously. Now you want second bat in second game? Because of you, I face consequences later.)”, said Virat.
To which Rinku responded by saying, “Aap ki kasam kha raha hu fir nahi todunga kabhi bat toot ke rakhi hai aapko dikatha hu (I swear on you, won’t break the bat again. I can show you the broken bat.)”
