In the wake of her recent surgery, Rakhi Sawant is currently recovering. Her ex-husband, Ritesh, recently shared a video of Rakhi from the hospital on his Instagram handle. The footage depicts Rakhi Sawant attempting to walk with the assistance of several nurses. Initially hesitant and tearful, the actress eventually takes steps, albeit with visible distress.
Ritesh can be heard offering encouragement to Rakhi Sawant as he captures the moment on video.
Accompanying the video on his Instagram, Ritesh wrote,
“Mai bahut khus hu ,rakhi je jaldi he hamare beech hongi. Aaj unko initial walk karte dekh acha laga. Thanks to god and Janta
“I am very pleased, Rakhi will soon be back with us. Today, seeing her take her initial steps was heartening. Thanks to God and the public (for the support).

Shortly after the video surfaced, Rakhi Sawant’s well-wishers flooded the comments section with messages of a speedy recovery. “God bless you, get well soon and then resume your antics,” wrote one fan. Another added, “Get well soon, sis ❤️.”
For those unaware, Rakhi Sawant underwent surgery after medical professionals detected a tumor in her uterus. Ritesh had previously confirmed the success of her surgery.
“Some people were laughing a lot. I think such people are inhuman who make a mockery of somebody’s pain. (shows a photo of a tumour) See how big this rumour is. Rakhi, you don’t worry, we’ll take care of you. Some people are still making baseless statements and trying to defame you. Let me tell them, your time is over,”
he said.
However, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani alleged that her hospitalization was merely a ploy to evade imprisonment in the leaked video case.
“The doctors haven’t said anything. We don’t even know which hospital she’s in. If it were a heart attack, I think patients usually require oxygen masks, but she (Rakhi Sawant) doesn’t have one either. She’s doing this only because she has to surrender to the police soon. This is just a tactic to avoid going to jail,”
he claimed.
Rakhi Sawant has been charged with offenses under Sections 500, 504, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), relating to defamation and complicity in criminal intent, respectively, along with Section 67(A) of the Information Technology Act (IT Act) for electronically disseminating sexually explicit videos involving Adil.
