Ed Sheeran’s presence in India has become quite regular, delighting his Indian fan base with not just his music but also his appearances. During his recent visit to Mumbai, the British singer not only held a concert but also mingled at parties attended by Bollywood luminaries like Farah Khan. His latest venture took him to The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Netflix India teased an unexpected fusion of talents between Ed Sheeran and Kapil Sharma.
The trailer showcased Ed giving his hit track “Shape Of You” a Punjabi flavor, alongside banter from Kapil who humorously remarked, “You might be younger than me, but I’m younger than you in English.” Moreover, Ed charmingly recreated Shah Rukh Khan’s famous dialogue ‘Bade bade shehron mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai’.
The audience was thoroughly impressed, with Sunil Grover also joining in for some side-splitting humor with Ed. To everyone’s surprise, Ed even rendered the Paneer Pakoda song with impeccable pronunciation.
