For those unfamiliar, Kangana and Chirag co-starred in the 2011 film Miley Naa Miley Hum, which unfortunately did not perform well at the box office.

Chirag Paswan ran for the Hajipur seat in Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and won by a significant margin of 1.70 lakh votes. Kangana, making her political debut, also found success by winning the Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh.
Chirag congratulated Kangana and expressed his eagerness to hear her perspectives
. “We shared a good relationship, worked in a film. We will be meeting in Parliament. I think she is a strong lady; she voices herself very articulately,”
he stated.
He also affirmed that his party, the BJP, to which Kangana now belongs, will have “unconditional support” from his party to form the NDA government. “We have unconditionally accepted Narendra Modi’s leadership,” he said.
