As a spouse, Virat Kohli is very attentive. In interviews when he has been questioned about Anushka Sharma, he has been known to gush. And he’s done the same thing in his most recent podcast, in which he and Danish Sait had a conversation.
According to him, his time spent with Anushka Sharma opened his eyes and taught him more about tolerance and acceptance. Virat Kohli has said that his wife Anushka Sharma serves as a major source of motivation for him.
He said that his outlook on life had changed before he met her. His perspective on himself changed as he fell in love. Virat Kohli has said that she has helped him become a better person and has taught him the importance of tolerance.
He also said that the lockout was difficult for the pair. In 2021, when the globe was suffering from the effects of COVID-19, they became parents. He recalled that at that time, she gave up a lot for the sake of their daughter Vamika.
He compared Anushka Sharma’s problems to his own and claimed they paled in comparison.
Virat Kohli once claimed that a person should not worry about expectations so long as they were loved by their family for who they were. A need, he informed Danish Sait.
He scored his 22nd century in Tests in 2018 in Birmingham. Even against the formidable James Anderson, he managed to score over 120 runs. Anushka Sharma, he added, was just as anxious as he was. He had gone without a century in tests for quite some time before to it. After the tremendous knock, he was overcome with emotion and told Sait as much in the locker room.
He said,
“Anushka was there. She also got a bit emotional. She was feeling very happy for me because she understood being in the stadium, after a build-up of four years and watching that moment.”
