After the war of words on the field during the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Lucknow SuperGiants clash at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow yesterday, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli have been fined 100 percent of their match fees.
The fight between these two renowned cricketers in the Indian Premier League has been going on since the RCB vs KKR game in 2013 and it continued after Gambhir had shushed the crowd in the previous encounter between these Gautam’s team and RCB and Kohli repaid it by making the same gesture on Monday, May 1.
Royal Challengers Bangalore defended a very low total of 126 runs against Lucknow SuperGiants, who were not looking good since the start of their run-chase.
LSG Captain KL Rahul was injured and couldn’t come out to bat until the final, where 23 runs were required to win. The last over was bowled very well and RCB didn’t let Amit Mishra take the strike to give Rahul a chance to hit the bigger shots.

The RCB star was very aggressive and he put the opponents under immense pressure during the run-chase. The KL Rahul-led side couldn’t chase down a target of 127 runs which was an easy target for them at their home ground.
