The hockey player Yuvraj’s statement on Uorfi’s video, which a paparazzi shared, did not go well with Uorfi Javed.
As we all know, trolling is quite common in today’s celebrity society and so-called Gen Z. However, it must also be noted that even an insignificant remark can start social media arguments and war. This E-war frequently arises between celebrities and netizens.
Moreover, sometimes these kinds of things can also affect someone’s reputation, especially if they are on the wrong side. Something similar recently happened with Yuvraj Walmiki, a professional hockey star who is commonly known as the “Prince of Indian Hockey.”
He holds a massive amount of respect he holds in society. However, his recent controversy with renowned celeb Uorfi Javed put him on the back foot as everything that happened between them became public and went viral on social media.
Uorfi Javed doesn’t need an introduction today, as the majority of people already know about her through social media. Numerous people enjoy Uorfi’s fashion, and she has a massive fan base on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.
Be it through her audacious avatar or her quirky attire, it is evident that she isn’t afraid to express herself.
Recently, she did a similar thing with a hockey player named Yuvraj Walmiki.
In case you don’t know, the hockey player Yuvraj’s statement on Uorfi’s video, which a paparazzi shared, did not go well with her
When Uorfi was arrested recently in Dubai, Yuvraj commented,
Thank you, Dubai. Please keep her forever. Kind regards
To this, Uorfi replied,
Got so many problems with my clothes but still be in dms
Later, Yuvraj in an exclusive interview said that he had not messaged her and challenged her to reveal the messages.
Speaking with the portal, he said,
Let her show if I have ever messaged underaged or minor girls. If you go through my Instagram, I’ve done so much for women. I respect women. She texted me ‘kitni ladkiyon ko hi hello likh ke bheja hai’. Tell me, what is the problem even if I did that? It’s none of her business.
On Urfi’s DM allegations, Yuvraj added,
She has lost her mind. I’ve never said this but she’s actually a disgrace. If she has (messages), she could have shared them. Yesterday, it was all over the news that Urfi was detained in Dubai. That is why she just wrote ‘Thank you Dubai and please keep her forever. I did not comment about her clothes or character. I never said she deserves to be in jail.
Uorfi hit back and reacted to Yuvraj’s interview
In response to Yuvraj’s interview, Uorfi uploaded a screenshot of his message, which said,
Hey, How are you?
In her Instagram story, she wrote,
Kapde mere tab bhi same the jab isne msg kiya tha bas I wasn’t popular enough! It’s fucked up when public figures like him comment shit like wanting me behind bars, for what bro? Tumhara ya kisi ka bhi kya bigada hai maine? Yaha rape or murder kar ke khule ghoom rahe hai log unke liye koi kyu nahi bolta?
In another story, she wrote,
Instead of apologising you keep defending your actions, knowing you’re wrong. He said I’m a disgrace to the society. For what reason? For wearing and doing and speaking my mind? Rapists and murderers are not a disgrace? By doing all this you’re just promoting rape culture, you’re telling people it’s ok to threaten a girl, rape a girl, call her disgrace, tell her she deserves to be in jail cause of what she puts on her body!! Please everyone stop it.
Uorfi recently made headlines as internet rumors were doing the rounds that she had been arrested in Dubai for wearing “revealing outfits.”
She came up with a clarification that she was not detained by Dubai police and that local police had shown up on the sets of her shoot as a result of some team miscommunication.
She also released a phony video from behind bars in which she took a slight dig at the internet users for celebrating the news of her arrest.
