And recently on Tuesday, Uorfi took to her Instagram stories to post a note in which claimed she was denied entry at a Mumbai restaurant, seemingly because of her attire.
She took to her Instagram stories and wrote,
“WTF! Is this really 21st century Mumbai?!?! I was denied entry at a restaurant today. It’s okay if you don’t agree with my fashion choices. It’s NOT to treat me differently for it. And if you are, admit it! Don’t give some lame excuses. Pissed off ! Please look into it. @zomato #mumbai.”
Uorfi tagged the food delivery app Zomato in her story.
After a few hours, a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani showed Uorfi Javed arguing with a restaurant manager and calling him an ‘Uorfi Javed hater’.
The video was shared with ‘#ad’ explaining that this was indeed an advertisement for Zomato.
Uorfi Javed’s fashion was recently praised by Kareena Kapoor as well when the actor called her “gutsy” and “confident”.
Kareena told Zoom Digital, “The fact that she does exactly as she wants, that’s what fashion is all about – when you are comfortable in your own skin and do exactly as you, please. I just love the confidence. I am a confident girl so I am all for confidence. I just love her confidence and the way she walks. Hats off.” She added, “I am not as gutsy as Urfi but I feel it’s extremely brave and extremely gutsy.”
