In a recent social media post, a man from Madhya Pradesh detailed a harrowing experience: his Tata Nexon vehicle skidded off the road after one of its tires detached due to a broken wheel hub. Tanmay Raju, the user, shared the incident on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that it occurred on December 23 while his friends were en route from Sidhi to Prayagraj airport to pick him up.
Initially unaware of the problem, Raju’s friends noticed a rolling tire ahead of the Tata Nexon car, leading to the vehicle skidding off the road and into a field.
Fortunately, the occupants emerged unharmed, but the broken wheel hub was identified as the cause of the tire detachment.

In subsequent posts, Raju detailed challenges seeking assistance from Tata Motors, claiming that unhelpful individuals with towing trucks were sent.
After a delay of over six hours, the company allegedly insisted on arranging a hydra to lift the car before towing, leaving Raju’s friends stranded for 28 hours.
Despite the extended ordeal, Tata Motors reportedly demanded payment for the tow truck. Raju eventually found a private tow truck service, and the car was towed to Rewa Tata Motors workshop the next day at 2 pm. Expressing concern about the life-threatening situation caused by the part failure, Raju urged Tata Motors to take full responsibility and refund the towing cost.

Accompanying his tweet were photos of the broken wheel hub, emphasizing the safety concerns despite the Tata Nexon’s 5-star safety rating. Tata Motors responded promptly on their official page, requesting Raju to share his contact details for further assistance.

This incident follows previous complaints, with another individual earlier expressing dissatisfaction with a supposedly “defective” brand-new Tata Nexon. In response to that case, Tata Nexon apologized and urged users to share their email ID for prompt assistance.
