Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Kirti, recently visited the Kedarnath temple, paying a heartfelt tribute to her late brother. The circumstances of the talented actor’s death remain a topic of intense discussion, with his passing nearly four years ago initially believed to be a straightforward suicide.
However, the case has since become shrouded in mystery, spawning numerous conspiracy theories that suggest involvement from various individuals, including his partner Rhea Chakraborty and an alleged Bollywood mafia.
Despite the police closing the investigation, dedicated fans of Rajput, affectionately known as “SSR,” have maintained a vigorous campaign on social media, holding accountable those they believe were involved in his death. The case has stayed in the public eye, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) still probing but unable to uncover definitive evidence regarding his death.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, especially his sisters, have been at the forefront of the ‘Justice for SSR’ movement.
Shweta Singh Kirti, his sister, has been particularly active, frequently making headlines for her efforts to seek justice for her brother. Her dedication has garnered varied responses from SSR’s fans, who have been deeply moved by her tributes and memories of him.
During her recent visit to the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand, Shweta shared an emotional post on Instagram, reflecting on her brother as his fourth death anniversary approaches. She noted that Sushant cherished this location, having acted in the movie ‘Kedarnath’ alongside Sara Ali Khan, making the place even more significant to his fans.
In her poignant Instagram post, Shweta wrote,
“It is the 1st of June, and four years ago on the 14th of this month, we lost our dearest Sushant. Even now, we are still searching for answers about what happened on that tragic day. I came to Kedarnath to pray, to remember, and to feel close to Bhai.”
She described her overwhelming emotions and a strong sense of her brother’s presence, stating,
“As soon as I landed in Kedarnath, tears began to flow. I walked for a while but eventually had to sit down and cry my heart out, feeling his presence all around me. I felt an overwhelming urge to hug him. I sat and meditated where he had meditated, and in those moments, I felt he was still with me, within me, living through me. It felt as if he had never left.”
Shweta also recounted a significant event from the previous day in Phata, where she managed to see a post of her brother with a Sadhu despite an internet outage. She shared,
“Yesterday in Phata, there was no internet connection. While sitting in my car, I managed to open Instagram and saw only one post in my feed: a picture of Bhai in Kedarnath with a Sadhu. I knew I had to meet that Sadhu, and by God’s grace, I was able to. I’m attaching that picture for reference.”
Concluding her post, Shweta expressed her gratitude, writing,
“Grateful to God for making this happen. #kedarnath #kedarnathtemple #sushantsinghrajput.”
Her post quickly attracted a wave of supportive and touching comments.
