Suhani Bhatnagar’s Father Reveals The Reason Of Former’s Demise
While the exact cause of Suhani’s untimely death remains unclear, a close relative of the actor informed PTI that she passed away at AIIMS on Friday at the age of 19. Although details surrounding her demise were not specified, media reports suggested that she faced medical complications following a leg fracture. According to a source at the hospital, Suhani was “admitted on February 7 and passed away on February 16.”
This unfortunate loss has deeply saddened fans and the film industry alike, as Suhani Bhatnagar’s portrayal in “Dangal” left a lasting impression on audiences. Her talent and potential will be remembered fondly.

Meanwhile, Suhani Bhatnagar’s father revealed that her demise was due to complications from dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease. Despite consulting multiple doctors, her illness went undetected until she was admitted to Delhi AIIMS hospital. Treatment with steroids weakened her immune system, leading to a fatal infection and lung complications, ultimately claiming her life on February 16, 2024.
Suhani’s mother expressed pride in her daughter’s achievements, highlighting her role in “Dangal” and her passion for acting. She shared that Suhani had a natural talent for the camera from a young age and was pursuing a course in Mass Communication and Journalism with aspirations to continue working in showbiz.
