Recently, a video went viral on social media in which Filmmaker SS Rajamouli called Hrithik Roshan “Nothing” comparing him to Prabhas. He faced a lot of backlashes for his remarks and now he has finally opened up about his comments on a Bollywood actor and apologized for his remarks.
SS Rajamouli’s apology comes after an old video of the director lauding Prabhas while degrading Hrithik Roshan calling him ‘nothing’ heated up controversy on the internet.
The clip that is doing the rounds on the internet is most probably recorded in 2009 and showed SS Rajamouli speaking at the audio launch of Prabhas’ film ‘Billa.’
The video of SS Rajamouli insulting Hrithik Roshan went viral on the internet and many slammed him for his mean comments.
Now, Rajamouli has said that his choice of words was wrong and that he respects the actor a lot.
According to reports, a video shared by Reuters shows SS Rajamouli clearing the air around his comments on Hrithik.
“It was long, long back — I think some 15-16 years back. But yeah, my choice of words wasn’t good, I must admit it. My intention was never to degrade him, I respect him a lot. It is long back,”
Rajamouli was quoted as saying.
As of now, SS Rajamouli is currently basking in the success of his film RRR, which recently won a Golden Globes award for its song ‘Naatu Naatu,’ composed by MM Keeravani.
