After a long break of four long years, Shah Rukh Khan aka King Khan -is reigning at the box office all over again. Recently, his blockbuster film Pathaan achieved another milestone. The Siddharth Anand directorial has beaten SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 and is now the highest-grossing film in Hindi ever.
The Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer movie earlier crossed Rs 1000 crores at the global box office and has now beaten Baahubali: The Conclusion’s collection in Hindi, which is Rs 510.99 crores.

Other films on the list are KGF: Chapter 2 which minted Rs 435 crores, Hindi-original movie – Dangal which grossed Rs 387.38 crores, Sanju with Rs 342.86 crores, PK with Rs 340.80 crores, Tiger Zinda Hai with Rs 339.16 crores, Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Rs 320.34 crores and War with Rs 318.01 crores.
Shah Rukh Khan fans are going crazy and have taken the internet by storm. While some said that his forthcoming film with Rajkumar Hirani is going to perform even better at the box office, others were taking a jibe at the boycott gang and those who thought SRK should take retirement.

“Just like every filmmaker, I also had a wish list to once work with Shah Rukh Khan. I think you have to earn a Shah Rukh Khan film, I think it was my journey which I completed and that is when I got a gift to direct Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan aayi hai, hit hui hai. Uske baad kya banayege (Pathaan has been released, and it has been a hit. What will we make after that?”. At this point, fans screamed Pathaan 2, and Siddharth replied, “Insha allah (God willing)”.
Shah Rukh Khan added,
“This is a big day for us, my family. We haven’t experienced this happiness in a while. Whenever he (Siddharth Anand) wants me to do Pathaan 2, I’ll do it. If they want to make a sequel, it’ll be my honour to do it.”
