Senior NDTV journalist Ravish Kumar recently became the talk of the town when he recently resigned from NDTV. He is a renowned media personality and an author as well. Ravish was awarded the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2019. The award is considered to be the Asian version of the Noble Prize.
He was NDTV India’s senior executive editor and one of India’s most influential TV journalists of all time. He gained massive popularity for “harnessing journalism to give voice to the voiceless”.
Reportedly, Ravish Kumar resigned from NDTV on 30 November 2022. It was revealed that through an internal mail within the channel it was announced that the resignation was effective immediately.

Ravish Kumar was born on 5 December 1974 in Jitvarpur village in East Champaran, Bihar.

His father’s name is Baliram Pandey, and his brother is Brajesh Kumar Pandey. However, the information related to his mother is not disclosed.
Educational Qualification
Ravish completed his high school at Loyola High School, Patna. Later, he moved to Delhi in 1990 for further studies and did his bachelor’s and master’s in History from Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi.
Ravish was scared of English – speaking people in Delhi
English-speaking people scared Ravish as he was not so good at it. He even rented a Barsati in the bylanes of Govindpuri because of his fear of facing people from” English- speaking zones”.
When he joined Deshbandhu College, his teachers Anil Sethi and Rana Bahal acted as his mentors and helped him throughout. He revealed,

Before tying the knot, Ravish and Nayana were in a relationship for around seven years. In those days Ravish was short on money, so they used to go for long walks and visit cafes. Moreover, Ravish’s family strongly objected to their marriage. Ravish is a Brahmin, an upper caste and Nayana belonged to a Bengali Community.
