Shoaib Malik’s sister expressed dissatisfaction with the former Pakistan cricket captain’s recent marriage to actor Sana Javed, as it follows his divorce from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Mirza had shared a cryptic Instagram post acknowledging the difficulty of divorce a few days prior.
Reports suggest that Malik’s family members were absent from the wedding ceremony, and his sister alleged that Sania Mirza decided to end the marriage due to Shoaib Malik’s extramarital affairs. The couple, once considered a power couple in the sports world, had been surrounded by separation rumors for the past couple of years, with indications that they had been living separately for over a year.

This marks Shoaib Malik’s third marriage, having previously divorced his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui to marry Sania Mirza.
Sania Mirza had initiated the divorce after Malik announced his marriage to Sana Javed, with sources confirming it was a ‘khula,’ referring to the right of a Muslim woman to unilaterally divorce her husband.
Sana Javed, a well-known figure in the Pakistani television industry, debuted in 2012 and is recognized for her work in projects such as Zara Yaad Kar. Sania Mirza had previously filed for divorce from Shoaib Malik, according to Pakistani media reports. The couple, who married in April 2010 in Hyderabad and lived in Dubai, shares a five-year-old son named Izaan.
