Shark Tank India 2 has become one of the most talked-about reality shows on television in recent times.
All the sharks on the show have gained a massive fan following popularity, and also a reputation for their witty remarks and sharp business penetration. The panel of Judges for this season includes Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, Amit Jain, and Namita Thapar, all of whom have quite impressive numbers in the business world.
In a recent episode, the founders of Neuphony introduced their product, which they described as
“Aapke brain ka smartwatch.”
The judges were visibly impressed with the pitch and Namita Thapar asked about the accuracy of the product. The founders claimed that their product had an accuracy rate of 98%, which surprised the judges even more.
After listening to all the pitches, Namita Thapar made an offer to Neuphony of Rs 1 crore for 6.66% equity. However, Anupam Mittal made a different offer, stating that he wanted to invest in the company to make it big, rather than just investing to make his own company big. Namita and Anupam then decide to join hands for the offer.
Later, Aman Gupta advised the pitchers to choose their investors wisely and to seek timely support from skilled people.
Namita slammed him, implying that his words should not be taken as an influence. However, Anupam’s remark left everyone shocked. He said,
“Ye sab fekuchand hai inki baton mei nahi ana,”
which can be roughly translated to, “don’t believe everything they say.”
Later on, Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta them a final offer of Rs 1 crore for 5.4 percent which the business owners accept.
