Shark Tank India S3: In the ongoing Shark Tank India Season 3 show, the level of excitement escalates significantly with the introduction of new sharks. This addition not only adds fresh perspectives but also enhances the overall grandeur and appeal of the show. The anticipation among viewers rises as they eagerly await the interactions and potential deals that will unfold with the new sharks joining the panel of judges.
AI-Drone Pitch Criticized for False ‘We Did It First’ Claims In Shark Tank India S3:
In Shark Tank India Season 3’s 10th episode, judges were captivated by Vecros co-founders Besta Prem Sai and Rajashree Deotalu’s presentation of the AI-Drone ‘Athera’. Athera, India’s first self-flying spatial AI drone, operates without GPS, boasting level 4 autonomy. With 8 onboard cameras and autonomous laser tech, it maps surroundings, navigates obstacles, and generates 3D maps during flight.
During the episode, there was a tense moment when the drone had an accident, causing damage to its landing gear. However, despite this setback, the startup still secured a Rs 20 lakh deal from boAt co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta.
While most viewers and the sharks seemed unfazed by the project, however, a Twitter user has left everyone in shock with his fact-checking skills. Remember Akshay Narishetty, the creator of the viral ‘Dino Game’ project, that took the internet by storm? Well, watch it here, if you haven’t already first:

Akshay Narishetty took to his social media and slammed the founders of Vecros for claiming that their drones were the first and only ones with autonomous laser mapping. He accused them of lying, citing drones from DJI Enterprises that come with built-in mapping features. Narishetty also mentioned how the mapping technology is open-source for both hardware and software. Not just this, he also shared a demo of a similar drone mapping indoors autonomously.

This is a very Big Lie
Have been watching Shark Tank episodes and came across this Drone Startup which claims to do World’s First and only Autonomous laser mapping of surroundings using a Quadcopter.
I don’t understand why are founders blatantly lying about their Tech

Shark Tank India Season 3 faces controversies over claims made by some pitchers. The startup Kashmir Bat, which received a Rs 30 lakh investment in the 7th episode, drew criticism. The Cricket Bat Manufacturers Association of Kashmir accused Tramboo Sports’ young co-founders of taking credit for the Kashmir Willow Bat’s heritage.
