The calculations are as follows: The movie earned Rs 1050 crore worldwide, of which Rs 545 crore came from India. SRK got an amount that was more than the budget of his film Ra.One (Rs 100 crore), KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 100 crore), Padmaavat (Rs 180 crore), and Baahubali (Rs 180 crore).
According to reports, the budget of SRK’s Pathaan was Rs 270 crore (including P&A). The distributor’s share of the Rs 545 crore India collection was Rs 245 crore. While it was Rs 178 crore for the global collection—Rs 396.02 crore. Pathaan went on to earn Rs 150 crores from rights sold to satellite and digital screening, along with Rs 30 crores in revenue from music rights and subsidies.
When calculated, the recovery of the film was Rs 603 crore, and the total profit was Rs 333 crore. Reportedly, SRK had asked for 60% of the profit share, which amounts to approximately Rs 200 crore as his fee.
