The sudden demise of actor-director Satish Chandra Kaushik has left the Indian film industry and his fans in shock. Legendary actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik, who passed away at the age of 66 on March 8 2023, had attended a Holi party hosted by Javed Akhtar and his wife, actor Shabana Azmi, just a day before his death.
Taking to Instagram on March 7, 2023, Mr. Kaushik shared a series of pictures from the Holi party in which he is celebrating the festival of colors with his friends from the Hindi film industry.
In the pictures that are now doing the rounds on social media, Satish Kaushik could be seen posing with Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhry, and Javed Akhtar.
The pictures show the actor in a jovial and happy mood, with a big smile on his face as he enjoyed the company of his colleagues and friends.
Sharing the pictures he wrote,
“Colourful Happy Fun Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @jaduakhtar @babaazmi @azmishabana18 @tanviazmiofficial .. met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @therichachadha @mahimachaudhry1 wishing Happy Holi to everyone.”

Richa Chadha, who celebrated Holi with the late actor took to her Instagram and paid tribute to him. She wrote,
“Sir, I’m gutted, we played Holi day before and today you’re gone.”
