Tennis star Sania Mirza, who announced her split from cricketer Shoaib Malik earlier this year, has recently addressed her love life. In a promo for “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Sania made a rare comment on the subject.
In the promo for an upcoming episode featuring guests Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, host Kapil Sharma announced that Mary Kom, Sania Mirza, and Saina Nehwal would be appearing on the show.
During the segment, Kapil discussed various topics, including Sania’s personal life.
The clip starts with Kapil introducing the guests and hinting at the jokes he has lined up. When Kapil mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan had once offered to play her love interest in a movie, Sania humorously interrupted, saying,
“Abhi mujhe pehle love interest dundna hai” (I need to find a love interest first).
Her response left both Kapil and Archana Puran Singh laughing.
For context, in 2016, Shah Rukh Khan launched Sania’s autobiography “Ace Against Odds” and expressed interest in producing a film based on it, even jokingly suggesting he could play her love interest.

Sania’s comments come months after her ex-husband Shoaib Malik’s third marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed, which they announced by sharing wedding photos in January.
Sania and Shoaib were married in Hyderabad in 2010, with a reception in Sialkot, Pakistan. They have a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, born in 2018. Earlier this year, Sania’s team confirmed their separation and urged fans to avoid speculation.
