During a special event for the release of Citadel Honey Bunny, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan had a light-hearted moment on stage with Karan Johar. As Varun and Samantha attempted to touch Karan’s feet, the filmmaker’s reaction to the gesture quickly gained traction on social media.
Varun jokingly remarked, “I feel everyone should touch Karan’s feet.”
To this, Karan responded with humor, saying,
“I don’t want to be aged here please. I am finally over my midlife crisis. I don’t want you to put me in my place please.”
Continuing the banter, Varun quipped,
“I don’t think you all realise how old Karan is because he does a great job with his dermatologist.” The filmmaker then said, “There are lots of people who have done jobs on their faces, I am not one of them.”
The incident was captured on video and circulated widely on social media platforms.
