The craze for RRR in the West refuses to slow down as the film continues to dominate theatres internationally.
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has added another feather to its long list of record breaks, and recently, tickets for RRR at the world’s biggest IMAX theatre were sold out in a matter of just 98 seconds!
the movie is all set to be screened at Los Angeles’s iconic Chinese Theatre as an initiative of Beyond Fest. Fans of one of the highest-grossing movies went so crazy, that tickets for the show were sold out within 2 minutes.
The official handle Twitter handle of Beyond Fest shared the first happiest news of the year with fans and wrote that this had never happened before for an Indian film and called it “historic”.
They wrote,
“It’s official and it’s historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @mmkeeravaani.”

RRR has been continuously receiving widespread appreciation from filmmakers and celebrities from all over the globe. The movie has also received nominations in two major categories at the Golden Globes Award, Best Picture – Non-English Language and Naatu Naatu for Best Original Song – Motion Picture, becoming the first Telugu movie to reach that level.
Moreover, Naatu Naatu has also been shortlisted for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
Meanwhile, in India, SS Rajamouli’s directorial is currently one of the highest-grossing Indian movies of 2022. It also went on to become the highest-earning Indian film in Japan. The film has broken so many records till now and is now unstoppable at the international box office as well.
