Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group is known for his social media presence and this thing make him stand out from the other renowned Indian industrialists.
His enthusiasm and excitement to engage with his admirers and followers frequently stole the hearts of his fans. He often responds to tweets and messages, and shares engaging articles and videos on his twitter handle. Moreover, he even offers job opportunities to those who catch his eye.
He uses his social media handles to highlight and promote the cutting-edge goods and technology of Mahindra Group and spread knowledge of social concerns. While the majority of people often stay away from criticism or take it personally, Anand Mahindra is different in this case as well.
Sir Mahindra not only took fair criticism as constructive one but also praises the critic. Something similar recently witnessed when Anand Mahindra recently invited one of his product’s critics to his design studio.
Anand Mahindra invites a female RJ to his design lab after reading her humorous review of the XUV700
CEO of Mahindra company recently expressed his admiration for a Radio Mirchi RJ named Purkhaa. It all started when Purkhaa posted a video online that caught Anand’s eye.
In her viral video, she showcased the features of Mahindra and Mahindra’s XUV700, but with a humorous twist. Instead of using their conventional names, she provided alternate meanings for them, which made the video even more hilarious.
She hilariously referred to the audio ‘Resume’ button as the ‘Resume’ in a job application. She also referred ‘Cruise’ as a means of booking a cruise ship instead of the car’s cruise control.
Purkhaa linked the ‘Set’ button with being in the company of someone. Speaking about the memory function for the driver’s seat. She refers to it as children learning to counting.
Moreover, she said that the ‘Auto’ button for climate control is for booking an autorickshaw, ‘Mode’ as ‘modein.’ It means turning the steering wheel in Hindi, and ‘Seek’ as ‘seek’ kebab and paneer kebab.
She even called the ‘SRC’ button, which stands for ‘source’ for audio, ‘sarak’ which means to move the passengers on the back seat. To add to humor, she referred to the button for opening the sunglass holder above the windshield as ‘sauce.’ Later, she was seen taking out a ketchup sachet from the holder.
At the end of the video, she termed the seatbelt button with ‘Press’ written on it as ‘Press’ referencing journalism instead of unbuckling the seatbelt.
Soon RJ Purkhaa’s hilarious review went viral on social media and reached Anand Mahindra’s feed
Mahindra was so impressed with the video that he invited Purkhaa to the design studio of his company to offer suggestions for future vehicle designs.
Along with the video, Anand wrote,
“I must have received this post over a zillion times. I plan to invite this automobile expert @RJ_Purkhaa to our design studio so that she can give us inputs for the interior design of all our future vehicles!@BosePratap.”
