Renowned cricketer, India’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant was rushed to hospital after the car in which he was traveling met with an accident on National Highway 58 in the Haridwar district.
Cops said, ‘the cricketer is lucky enough to survive that accident’. However, according to recent reports. Rishabh Pant is out of danger now thankfully. The cricketer is severely injured. He was said to be driving the car himself. The car collided with the divider early this morning and when it caught fire, Rishabh pushed himself and jumped out of it, and was immediately taken to the hospital.
The accident took place in the early hours of Friday (December 30) between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district. As per ANI, Rishabh was given primary treatment at the Roorkee Civil Hospital before he was transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun.
The 25-year-old Pant most recently played the Test series against Bangladesh. He scored 93 in India’s victory in Nagpur. He was not selected in the squads for the Test series against Sri Lanka and was scheduled to report to the NCA for Strength & Conditioning work ahead of the Test series against Australia scheduled to begin on February 9.
