Well, in today’s world, the cab driving system is a prominent part of modern transportation, as cab drivers provide a convenient and affordable transportation option for millions of people who need to travel within a city or between cities. The system, however, everything has its own pros and cons.
As we all know, cab drivers pick up people at various points, transport them to their destination, ask for payment for their services, and continue this whole procedure the whole day.
However, sometimes things don’t go well, especially with the female passengers. Despite the fact that most drivers are trustworthy and responsible, some have a reputation for behaving unethically, which can cause numerous problems.
Recently, this unprofessional behavior has become a hot topic of discussion after a Rapido driver sent some weird and creepy text message to a woman after she provided her location over WhatsApp, marking yet another instance of incorrigible behavior by cab drivers and bike taxi aggregators against female clients.
The whole creepy exchange went viral on Twitter and somehow netizens forced the company to respond to it. So, here’s what happened:

A screenshot of the exchange was posted on Twitter by the user husnpari, and the post has now gone viral with thousands of people reacting to it. The lady posted a snapshot of the conversation, in which the man claimed to have come just after hearing her voice and seeing her profile picture.
He continued by saying that if it hadn’t been for the pickup, he wouldn’t have arrived. Taking to Twitter, the passenger wrote,

The tweet soon went viral at the speed of light and led to a surge of various negative comments towards the Rapido company.
Rapido responds to the incident.
Due to this, the company also reacted to the tweet, saying,
“Hi, it is extremely disappointing for us to learn about the captain’s lack of professionalism and we are apologetic about the same. (1/2)”

The company added,

Despite this, the tweet is getting a lot of attention from people across the country. Some people are bashing the company, others are bashing the driver’s unprofessionalism.
